What is gilanisonline.com?
gilanisonline.com is an online platform that gives a customer the convenience and experience of shopping from the comfort of one’s home, office or on the go. Items bought are delivered to your doorstep or preferred drop off point (where indicated).

Do I have to register to be able to shop?
Yes, any online shopper will be required to create a user account to be able to shop.

DELIVERY

What can you deliver? Where do you deliver? and how much does delivery cost?

Gilani’s Online can deliver a variety of items, both wholesale and retail, to households and businesses. For wholesale purchases click on the Buy More Save More link.
Currently we deliver in Nakuru and its surrounding environs only. There is no cost for deliver. Delivery charges are ZERO!!!
Depending on the delivery options selected, delivery may take between 2-5 working days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
Express Delivery
At present our express delivery service is only available for orders within the Nakuru CBD and immediate town area. Any express orders ordered on a particular day will be delivered by the next day at noon.

PAYMENTS

How do I pay?
Payment options include M-Pesa (zero transaction fee), Debit Cards and Credit Cards (2.5% transaction fees for credit cards)

What is the minimum spend?
There is a minimum spend of Kshs. 2,000.00

Are there any other costs affiliated with my purchase?
There is no sign-up fee, there is no delivery fee, and any transaction fee is dependent on the mode of payment as explained above.

MISCALLENOUS

What if someone abandons their cart midpoint during shopping? Can they return back to the site at a later time and continue?

Yes. Click on the link that reads “MY ACCOUNT”. Here you can view your purchase history under “recent orders”. You can reorder a previously completed purchase or even regenerate an incomplete order by simply clicking on the reorder link.

Are there any special disclaimers or provisions a customer should be aware of?

The usual common ground rules and guidelines that apply to regular shopping experiences should be observed. For example:

When receiving a delivery of your order, please ensure that you check the items before signing off.
When ordering any refillable item (such as gas, or a crate of beer…) please make sure that you have an empty canister/tank/crate/bottles of the same brand ready in hand to hand over when your delivery arrives.
